Ineke Van Nieuwenhove

Welcome,

I’m Ineke. I have been a yoga teacher since 2011 and a Hormone Yoga teacher since 2016.
And I want you to be radiant with vitality
It’s possible! Hormone yoga makes your hormones buzz so you can lead a carefree happy life.

I know how hormone imbalances can ruin your life. After pregnancy. After going off the pill. Or when you’re in (peri)menopause. The many doctors you’ve visited without an answer to your problems. How tired you sometimes feel. You long for hormonal peace, more energy, no mood swings, no pain.

I’ve got you. Let me teach you Hormone Yoga and share my hormone knowledge.
With fun, simplicity & play.

What is Hormone Yoga?

Hormone yoga, created by Brazilian yoga teacher Dinah Rodrigues, activates and balances hormones.

The dynamic set consists of 21 exercises and gives you vitality, a healthy metabolism and hormones that work FOR you.

In the course I teach you all the techniques and postures. This way you can practise the set for the rest of your life and never have to suffer hormonal imbalances again.

Give it to yourself. You deserve it!

Did you know that...

  • when you’re on birth control, you don’t have a cycle? You shut off your own sex hormones.
  • you also need progesterone to sleep well, as it is needed for the production of melatonin?
  • excessive exercise lowers oestrogens and raises cortisol? Too much exercise isn’t always a good thing.
  • you’re at a higher risk of miscarriage when you have a burn-out? Your body needs progesterone for the production of cortisol. After a long period of chronic stress, your body is depleted of progesterone, a hormone needed for the safe implantation of the fertilized egg.
  • a stressful event can show in your cycle three months after, and may cause you to not menstruate or ovulate?
  • you produce growth hormone during your deep sleep which aids in collagen production (less wrinkles!)?
  • your progesterone is made by your adrenals after menopause? Which makes it extra important to not deplete your adrenals…

In short: your hormones are one system, and it is important to balance all of them. Hormone Yoga does exactly that.
